Description

This project/Master thesis aims at developing software that automatically aligns images, manually taken from a building under construction along approximately the same viewpoint over many months. Since the camera settings change over time (lighting, focal length, etc.), overlaying – without any pre-processing – the various images will not yield a good visual effect.
The student will hence develop all necessary image processing steps to perfectly align and relight the successive images into a video showing how the building has evolved over time, henceforth creating a visual time machine.

C++ and/or python, opencv or image processing library, INFO-H-500
